He was born and raised in the City of Fort Lauderdale Florida to the struggles of life. Lil KP fell in love with such DJ crews as Jam Pony Express DJ's, and Ghetto Style DJ's. Little did he know that this culture of talking over break beats and popular rap hits would play a key roll in his future flow. While growing up playing football and chasing girls, Kenny was bitten by the new bug called Hip Hop/Rap. During a time when South Florida was being ran by Luke SkyyWalker's Two Live Crew, Kenny would sit by the radio every Saturday night to feed that hunger for hip hop. He fell in love with such artist's as MC Shy D, Big Daddy Kane, Too Short, and Scareface. He would sit and write poetry to Two Live Crew song's.
Fast forward to the 90's. The music industry has changed. Kenny has gotten better. Seeing the crime rate soar to new heights in South Florida. The drug epidemic grew to enormous proportions and drug selling became the means by which many light bills were paid. The game began to call on Kenny, but with support from his parents, and a hand from God, Kenny escaped the trap. Seeing life's struggles first hand, and witnessing many violent scene's, Kenny's music began to take on a new identity. With songs like Cryin Tears and Do What You Gotta Do, you can see some of the scares on his soul as well as the pain that is still there. Bud don't get it twisted, Kenny can have a good time on the mic too. "Man, life is good.  You just have to find the good in it. I spent too much time chilling, praying, and waiting, but I needed to do a little more doing. I think that actions are where success starts, the rest is where the faith and talent take over."
Now move into 2008. Times have changed. Music and entertainment industries are seeing all time lows in profit and productivity. KP has changed his name to Kenny Lauderdale and moved to Memphis, TN. You can find him knee deep in the beat, pen in hand, and hungry to show the world just what it’s been missing. Now Lauderdale is doing artist consultation, producing, and ghost writing for local artists. Kenny Lauderdale say’s “I see how far music (hip hop) has evolved. Back in the day producers used to spend days in the crates digging for that perfect sample to accent their track. Now, they just hop on fruity loops, press a button and WHAM instant hit. Is it fair? No! But that’s just how it is. We no longer love hip hop, she has become our whore. We pimp her for her profits cause “Pleasure is the treasure that the girl sells all day”. Well, I still love her, and I still dig in the crates too… Don’t get me wrong though, I will press a button in fruity loops, or reason 4 too. Lol The money is gonna get made, might as well get some too!
After many talent shows and showcases have been rocked, after all of the many show goers jaws have been dropped. After the curtain has gone down, you will see him sitting there in the back going over the night’s events in his mind, you will find Lauderdale. Sitting, waiting, and plotting his next attack. Get ready for Kenny Lauderdale.
Now with a new sense of urgency and a will to gain, Kenny has set out to attack and devour all who stand in his way. "Right now, I just want to give people real music that they can jam to. Remember when music used to feel good? Well, we trying to bring that back. Lay round for it."
 Sure Mr. Lauderdale. We will!
